INCTR USA functions are primarily directed towards the prevention, treatment, management, cure, education, training, and research of both existing non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and any pre-existing diseases known to be associated with an increased risk of the development of an NCD.

INCTR USA has a special interest in reducing health disparities and ensuring access to health care while promoting health equity. This includes improving the quality of health care in regions where health services for NCDs are inadequate due to cultural, social, financial, and educational barriers.
